Pardon my French. You don't absolutely have to have a bank runner or team captain. You can pack any supplies you'll need in, say styrofoam ice chests, seal 'em with duct tape and label them with your identification and what check points you want them at and we'll see they are stashed for you in advance. But if you don't have a bank runner, you probably won't have a way to shuttle your vehicle either. Not so sure we can help you here. If you see you're going to be in that position, best bet is to use a forum like this to find other TDT entrants in the same situation and make arrangements to buddy up. And please remember, we're cutting off registration Sept. 16. We're having parties catered all the way down the bayou and we need to give them some numbers ahead of time. If something happens and you have to drop out, we'll give you most of your money back and a T-shirt to boot. Go to www.techeproject.com for details.

Thanks for the info. Does the 410 require a mandatory bank runner?

I need a shuttle for the Crawfish race on Friday, October 2, 2015 and for the Black Bear race on Saturday, October 3, 2015. My car can carry two surfski-style boats, and has two, Goodboy V-bars.

David, my CDB has taken sick, so at the last minute I'm finding myself possibly in the same predicament for Crawfish on Friday. I have a 16 1/2 ft sea kayak, but only one roof rack with me. I can only stick around for Crawfish on Friday. So I'll be no help on Saturday..at least not at the end of the Black Bear race (possibly for the start). I'm leaving New Orleans shortly to head to Port Barre registration. If you get this message, please call me at 504-250-2020.
